Henry D. Thoreau, author of "Life in the Woods," said, "The world is but a canvas for our imagination. This world is but a canvas for our imagination. Looking at Kotori Kawashima's photographs, we naturally imagine the stories that unfold beyond the flat surface.
First Album" is a gem of a photo book that brings together all the girls photographed by Kotori Kawashima for the CD jackets of "Ginko Boyz." From "Aidon Wanadai" released in 2007 to the latest single "Ikitai," 10 years worth of portraits are packed into one book.
Portraits of young girls, re-compiled from over 2,000 previously unpublished photographs. The photographs, which probe the depths of our sensitivity, will reach the hearts of all those who once experienced adolescence.
To celebrate the release of the "first album," a photo exhibition will be held at Ikebukuro Parco, and a tribute CD "Kirei na Hitoribotachi" featuring YUKI, Kumiko Aso, Keiichi Sogabe, Mitsume, and others, and a special edition mook book "Ginko BOYS Pia" will also be released simultaneously.
The photo book includes a contributed essay by Kazunobu Mineta. It is a must-see book even for non-fans. It will be released on Wednesday, December 7.

The older we get, the more we lose the flexibility of our minds. Why don't we take a moment to pull back the memories of those days?
