The Cinematic Orchestra is a British band that creates magnificent soundscapes based on jazz from the 1960s and 1970s. As the name suggests, their lyrical and soothing music, which seems to bring images to life when you close your eyes, attracts the hearts of many listeners.
Their latest album "To Believe," their first in 12 years, will be released simultaneously worldwide on Friday, March 15. Please take a look at the trailer that has just been released.
In the video, singer/songwriter Gray Reverend can be seen playing "Zero One/This Fantasy," a song from his participation on the album, against a beautiful landscape. Other songs on the album range from profound and melodic to jazzy and soulful.
Marihiko Hara
And, to commemorate the album release, a Japan tour will be held in Tokyo and Osaka in April. Both shows will also feature Marihiko Hara, who is known as an up-and-coming musician.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of their debut, and their latest album can be considered the culmination of their career. This is a must-listen.
