Michihiko Kurihara, a leading buyer in the Japanese vintage scene, will hold a vintage vintage vintage clothing market event "Most all the things Vol.2" this weekend, March 16 (Sat.) and 17 (Sun.). He will be selling vintage vintage clothing that he has just purchased from the U.S. before anyone else in the world.
Mr. Kurihara, who has been a buyer for more than 20 years, said that the quantity of items purchased this time is the largest and highest grade ever. Here is a glimpse of just a few of the items that will be dropped at this event. First of all, let me assure you, it's too much. Vintage & vintage clothing lovers, take heart.
Even a cursory look reveals a large number of G-jans of various brands and old tag coveralls, several USN shawl collars, and many embroidered items such as Vietjeans and Sukajans. There are also many embroidered items such as Beto jackets and Scajans. It is amazing that he was able to get so much stuff in one purchase and all by himself. Once again, I am in awe of Mr. Kurihara.
The location is the 2nd floor plaza of "EAGLES NEST Yokohama" where his store "Mr. Clean Yokohama" opened at the end of last year as a tenant. Mr. Kurihara will be in the store during the exhibition, so why not immerse yourself in vintage clothing while listening to his stories of buying in the U.S.?
