Wearing a slumbering air. A photo book of the set created by Yuta Kaji is now available for free.

When you think of a fashion catalog, you probably have a certain "format" in mind. The second photobook that breaks out of that box has just been released.

Stylist Yuta Kaji was in charge of photography, styling, and direction. Despite his rugged appearance, his work is the ultimate in delicacy. He is soft-spoken, soft-headed, and flexible in his ideas, making him a stylist with all three of the qualities of "softness. He is not only a stylist, but also a director and a photographer, and he demonstrates his creativity in a variety of fields.

The title of this issue is "Rishako 2," the same as the first issue. It was released as a photobook by SETTO, a casual wear brand in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, and is being distributed free of charge at stores that carry SETTO products.

Created in 2014 by Japan Blue, a textile manufacturer known for supplying materials to brands in Japan and abroad, "Set" uses its origins to create clothing that focuses on threads, fabrics, colors, and shapes.

Like the first volume, "Rishako 2" was entirely shot in Okayama Prefecture. The photos taken with a condenser digital camera have a pleasantly slumbering atmosphere that differs from the clarity of a single-lens reflex camera.

The location was the home of a "Japan Blue" staff member, and the garden plants, the award certificates hanging on the wall, the juice and snacks spread out on the table, and other props that look uncalculated, but are calculated, also work well.

Just flipping through them makes me feel as if I've gone back to my parents' house...

Even though there is a certain affinity between the atmosphere and the products, I applaud the wisdom and courage of the "set" in creating this "out-of-the-box" photobook.
