LOUIS VUITTONhas released its pre-collection for Fall/Winter 2019. This is the first time Virgil Abloh has created a "pre" collection. The collection is based on "staples," items that can be easily incorporated into everyday outfits, in advance of the main collection that will be presented on the runway.
The features are inspired by "Tokyo." Public service uniforms, as well as outdoor and sports scenes are key. In addition, the unique graphics are said to pay homage to Japan.
For example, windbreakers and T-shirts with many graphics reminiscent of corporate logos were inspired by jackets worn in radio-controlled boat races. Hoodies made of waterproof material made in Japan and lightweight leather outerwear with water sports elements are also available.
Also of interest are accessories such as bags with logo-like pop graphics and sneakers that are synonymous with Virgil.

The pre-collection will be pre-released at Louis Vuitton's Shinjuku and Hankyu Men's stores from Friday, April 26, prior to the nationwide release on Wednesday, May 1.
