A new men's boutique, elephants, has opened in Kyoto, one of Japan's ancient capitals. It carries men's brands that lead the contemporary fashion scene, including OFF-WHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH, Palm Angels, Stone Island, Amiri, and READYMADE. (READYMADE), and other men's brands that are leading the contemporary fashion scene.
Elephants" was born out of a desire to "create a store that proposes the future of trends in the midst of the heyday of luxury street shopping, using Kyoto, a place with a long history, as a medium. It is also our hope that in this age of online demand, people will find value in shopping at a storefront.
The interior was designed by Kyoto-basedKazuya Morita ArchitectsThe concept is "a hybrid space of old and new materials of Kyoto. Also in the store is a long-established Kyoto flower store founded in 1861 calledflower arrangementFlowers selected seasonally by the "Flower Shop" are displayed in the shop.
