Five gems made from dead stock fabrics that had been lying dormant at the manufacturer. A special series of Nestlove Confecto.

nest Robe CONFECTDEADSTOCK FABRIC COLLECTION" is a collection of deadstock fabrics from fabric makers in Japan that have long histories and techniques essential to the production of "DEADSTOCK FABRIC". DEADSTOCK FABRIC COLLECTION" using these fabrics is now on sale at our stores and online store.

The brand is known for its strong focus on materials, and this dead stock is something to be concerned about. Five types of jackets, woven fabrics, two types of shirts, and pants were released.

This tailored jacket incorporates dress and suiting details such as wide lapels, collar and shoulder construction with interlining and shoulder pads, a large turnover design, a kannon back lining, split darts, and double-buttoned pockets. Buttons are not attached to the front closure or cuffs. The silhouette is shaped at the waist, while the back is roomy, giving it a dress-like feel with a rough, button-less look.

This buttonless, shawl-collar haori has the flat, rough construction of a kimono, but with a shawl-collar collar, it is a piece that extracts the air of both Japanese and Western clothing. It is light enough to be easily worn over a T-shirt even in mid-summer season.

Nestlove Confect" considers regular-collar and band-collar shirts to be the basics. This time, we picked up a soft material with a sweet weave. The shirts are tailored to be so loose-fitting that they feel oversized.

These easy pants, based on trousers, have a relaxed silhouette to bring out the full texture of the material. The slightly tapered, gentle lines are attractive.

For the five models introduced here, 10 different dead stock fabrics were selected for this series. When selecting the fabrics, the image of the fabrics was to understand the background of the production area and to have an impact and a sense of time not found in inline fabrics. The main production areas are those of fabric makers who weave Kameda-Jima, a traditional fabric in the Kameda area of Niigata, and those of fabric makers in Bishu (Aichi), a production area where world-renowned weavers gather, especially for wool fabrics.

This is a special collection made from fabrics that were originally woven as samples or that appeared on the market but have been discontinued and are now sitting as stock. Needless to say, the number of these fabrics is quite limited, so if you are interested in these fabrics, please be sure to purchase as soon as possible.
