Our Star Wars" by Shield Takahashi, Toru Nishiyama and NIGO®.

Leading Japanese creators have gathered for the first installment of UNIQLO's new "Master of Graphics" project. Selected for the memorable first installment of the project are leading Japanese designers Shield Takahashi and Toru Nishiyama, as well as UT Creative Director NIGO®.

The new "Master of Graphics" project by UNIQLO "UT" started this season, in which talented "masters" in various fields create creative designs exclusively for "UT".

Its first theme is "Our Star Wars". The three legends who have led the world's street culture have all stated that they were influenced by the movie "Star Wars" from their childhood. This collection is the result of their respect and commitment to "Star Wars" and their deepest feelings.

These are currently available at UNIQLO stores nationwide and online. The full lineup is available on the official website. This time, they will be available in men's and kids' versions, so parents and children can match!

The creators have sent us their thoughts on the designs for this year's collection, which we will introduce here along with the collections.

Designed by Shield Takahashi. Each ¥1,500+TAX

Shield Takahashi: Star Wars was the first sci-fi movie I was exposed to as a child, so I have a very strong attachment to it. The novelty of the character and prop designs still fascinate me.... I've been a fan for many years, so I was very honored when I heard about the project outlined. The design uses motifs from the animated series, which was a personal favorite of mine.

NIGO® design. Each ¥1,500+TAX

NIGO®: It is no exaggeration to say that I was raised on Star Wars, and I love this movie so much. I have a particularly strong attachment to "Episode IV," "Episode V," and "Episode VI. I love the scene where Greedo appears and is immediately killed by Han Solo, and I love the rhythm of his words in that exchange. I hope you enjoy Greedo and Yoda's dialogue, which I have put into print.

Designed by Toru Nishiyama. Each ¥1,500+TAX

Toru Nishiyama: Star Wars and Lucasfilm have had a tremendous influence on me, especially in the area of merchandising, including figurines, and that influence remains strong even today, both as a fan and as a creator. It was in this context that I received this offer. Since I was going to participate in this project, I thought I would try to maximize my own love for the fans.

Let's all look forward to "Star Wars Day" on May 4 with UT in hand, a sci-fi blockbuster from this stellar group of creators!
