A curated store of modern connoisseurs, "HATCHThe new lineup of "HOUYHNHNM's" selectors includes well-known contemporary artist Ken Kagami, who is also a HOUYHNHNM's member.
The items are selected by Kagami based on the theme of "essential items for daily life".
Kagami does not have a set standard for selecting items for daily use, but like art, she believes that regardless of price, what she thinks is good is valuable, so she selected items that are "essential in daily life. The wall clock in his living room, the clothes he usually wears, the pens he uses to draw, and so on, are all items that he can recommend after actually using them.
In selecting the items for this project, he said, "I chose things that are bland. . I like things that I use on a daily basis to be bland in the end. So the items I chose would not bother me even if they were in my home, and I would not be told that they are easy to use or tacky. But if I put something in my home, people will say, "I like that kettle," or "I like that clock. It would be nice if people who know a little bit about it could understand it," he says.
