Whether a garment looks high quality or cheap depends largely on the fabric. This certainly applies to interior products as well.
Following the first installment in 2017, "Journal Standard FurnitureAll stores of the "Carhartt WIP" will sell a total of four items from the second interior collaboration with "Carhartt WIP" on June 1, ( Sat, ).
Incidentally, the first version sold out immediately, which is unusual for an interior decoration item, proving that this was a great collaboration both in name and reality.
Here are the first two models. This time, we produced a sofa cover and a cabinet using the fabric "CAMO LAUREL," which was used in the "MILITARY LABEL" inline line.
Rodez Chair Cover ¥22,000+TAX
The standard Rode chair ( is a replacement cover for ¥40,000+tax). The "313-07621-061" printed on the back is a code number. 313 = U.S. area code for Michigan, the birthplace of Carhartt.
07621= dial code for Carhartt WIP's German headquarters. 061= area code for Basel, Switzerland (Carhartt WIP founder Edwin Faeh's home town ) means.
Cabinet ¥68,000+TAX
Assembled cabinet. . made with a base of Glamp Supply by Hamosa. Packable design that can be folded into a case at the top of the cabinet.
The next two models use the "DEMOLITION" graphic, which is incorporated into the rug and dust box, respectively.
Rug ¥26,000+TAX
A rug with a short pile that can be used in all seasons. It is available in one size, 140 x 200 cm. The design here is typical Carhartt, with a workwear backbone based on overseas construction site signs.
Dust Box ¥3,800+TAX
This item is printed on a taper bucket, a long-selling product of BUNBUKU, a factory brand of a Japanese sheet metal working factory established in 1918. With its simple and minimalist design, it can be used for any occasion, and can be used as a planter case with plants in it.
The items are both playful and practical, as is typical of Journal Standard Furniture, which proposes interiors that resemble fashion.
