With the call for reform in the way people work, everything related to work is attracting attention, and shared offices such as "WeWork" are one of the hot topics.
Among them, the "green villa. was established ahead of others and has established its originality as a place where interesting and creative people gather, rather than just a shared office.
As if to prove it, there is a gallery attached to the building. Midori-so" regularly introduces artists of note, and this time, it seems that these artists have met their expectations.
From May 31 ( Fri ) to June 9 ( Sun ), Misako Taoka and Jesse Hogan will hold an exhibition at Midori-so in Naka-Meguro, Tokyo.
The work of Mr. Taoka, a photographer, can be seen on his Insta (@taoka_misako. and can be seen in the following pages. The works, which seem to be an extension of everyday life, are full of unique smells.
On the other hand, Jesse Hogan (1973) focuses on phenomenology and poststructuralism, the periphery of psychic phenomena (the edges of consciousness), and brings them to life in paintings, videos, and sculptures.@joganhesse(Mr.).
While we can't tell you what works will be on display, below is the enigmatic text from the event announcement.
1. from those points, this side may be placed.
. 2. the act of thinking about the situation in which several things are placed and the distance between those points.
3. and, when they are connected by lines, the act of observing the space created by the lines and dots that are mixed together.
4. = the situation in which you are located.
From a point, this side may be in place.
The action of thinking about the situation where several things are placed and the distance of the person in relation to the point.
When we connect them with a line, the space made of lines and intersections mixes together or we establish and engage in 'The act of observing points'. observing points'.
4. = The situation being placed.
The charm of the "Midori-so" gallery is that it features only artists who are truly living today, rather than artists with a fixed reputation. How you evaluate them depends on your aesthetic sense. Please come and visit us.
