An art photo exhibition "RONDO - Rinkyoku-" by architect/artist TAKUMI and fashion designer/photographer Shingo Higashi, who was discovered by Hedi Slimane, will be held from June 21. The location is Roppongi, at ICS, which also houses the Yellow Corner showroom.
This exhibition is an ensemble project launched by TAKUMI and Shingo Ichiba out of a desire not to be trapped in a one-size-fits-all thinking that puts everything in a "box.
This exhibition follows the first one held in Ginza in January this year, where TAKUMI, as a daily architect, puts his frustration of not being able to design freely under many restrictions on canvas, and Shingo HAYASHIWA, as an expressionist, expresses his curiosity for the subject through photography and concept work. The works focus on the new paths they have found in their creations.
In today's world of information overflowing and surging like dust, the same thing will be made by anyone. Still, we are excited by the quest of two people who believe in new possibilities.
