As time has progressed, the range of expression has expanded dramatically. Conversely, when it comes to the degree of freedom of expression, I feel that it has become extremely limited.
The same can be said for magazines, which seem relatively free, with more areas of untouchability and the inability to go one step further or write.
On the other hand, self-published zines and independent magazines, which are completely free of restrictions, are gaining momentum. People who feel inconvenienced by magazines and other media are looking for a place where they can let themselves go.
Among the many such self-published titles available for sale, the first issue of PARTNERS in 2017 was outstanding in both content and design, and the results have left many magazine lovers in awe. Now, two years later, the long-awaited second issue is available.
The theme is communication.
A "husband and wife" couple from Berlin who use a small table as a communication tool, two filmmaker brothers with an overly free father, and an Okinawan couple who share a "feeling of being marginalized"... A couple from Okinawa who share "feelings of alienation from society".... The film is a dense depiction of a special form of communication between people with special backgrounds.
In the latter half of the book, the relationship between Yuya Uchida and Kirin Kiki, a couple with whom editor-in-chief Takuto Kawashima had been unable to find a form of communication, is unraveled through the contributions of their daughter, Sayako Uchida, and Kazu and Noriko Shiine, who were close friends of the couple.
There is no right answer to the form of communication, rather they are all correct. This is a book that conveys such a message straight to you. To purchase a copy, please click on "Daikanyama Tsutayaorthis way (direction close to the speaker or towards the speaker)From.
