Photographer Jamie Hawksworth was born in 1987 in Suffolk, England. It was probably his work with fellow English fashion designer Jonathan Anderson that brought his photography to the world.

The campaign for J.W. Anderson, which began in the 2013-14 fall/winter season, as well as the visuals for Loewe, for which Anderson serves as creative director, are also iconic. Some of you may have seen his work before, as he has worked for international fashion magazines and famous brands. Anderson is one of the most promising photographers of the future, known for his beautiful portraits that sublimate casual expressions into something memorable.

This is Jamie's first work photographing young people passing by the bus terminal in Preston, a city in northern England. It all started when he was in college, when he first became interested in photography. He spent two days there with his teacher, photographing the teenagers. A few years later, he heard a rumor that the bus terminal was going to be demolished, and this time he spent a month there, wandering around from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day and shooting all the time.

The exhibition will feature 139 works taken between 2011 and 2003 that are being exhibited for the first time in Japan, and Jamie himself will be visiting Japan. Jamie himself will also be in Japan for a signing of exhibition posters on Saturday, August 3, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Words cannot describe the indescribable feeling. It is rare to find such strong modern portrait work, in which the people reflected in the images seem to start moving. This is a valuable opportunity to learn about the origin of the photographer.
