Many dramas were created at festivals around the country this summer, once again demonstrating the importance of sites as a source of culture and the more than ample potential of local areas, not just the big cities.

Amidst this momentum, a new workshop format, "EXPERIENCE STREET CULTURE," or "XP," was born last year at Matsudo Chuo Park in Chiba Prefecture.

The special skate ramp also drew a large crowd.

Born and raised in Matsudo, this event was planned and realized by a group of street culture lovers in collusion to enliven Hood. There will be skateboarding workshops, MC battles, dance contests, a 3x3 basketball tournament, and much more!

The NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND, featuring Deli, a hip-hop MC who is also active as a city councilor in his hometown of Matsudo, reunited this year and has sold out several shows in a row this year. This is a unique opportunity to see them and all the other live performances that will be held over the two days of the festival for free.

A new movement born in Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture. Please come and experience the energy of this movement, which is expected to expand further in the future.
