In today's age of diversification in ways of living, working, and identity, the way we live is one of them. Renovation is one of the most popular and realistic options to reflect one's personal preferences. In response to the momentum of the times, a number of renovation-themed "TOKYO Renovation MuseumThis year, Panasonic opened the "Panasonic Living Room" in Shiodome, Tokyo. Visitors can enjoy original content related to daily life and receive advice from a concierge on a variety of lifestyle-related topics. There are many highlights, including a real-size model room created by popular interior stylist Kanae Ishii.

The exhibition, "Doma de tanoshimu: Living with Hobbies," will be held for about three months starting on Thursday, September 26.

The exhibition will be directed by Koji Kato, a design journalist and photographer who writes about design, art, and photography, and designed by Akira Mabuchi, who is involved not only in architecture, interior and space design, but also in product planning, design, and branding. Designer Takeshi Nishio, known for his work on the "Tokyo Art Book Fair" and for his domestic desk brand "Feel," will be in charge of space design.

The theme of the space is "Doma" (earthen floor). Doma is also positioned as a vague boundary between the inside and outside of the house. For example, a family may enjoy their hobbies together in the dirt floor space, and through this, the family will be connected and a rich time will be nurtured.

The first half of the exhibition will be dedicated to "bicycles" and the second half will be dedicated to "photography".

In the first half of the exhibition, which focuses on bicycles, there will be an exhibition of road bikes developed by Panasonic Cycle Tech and directed by Akira Mabuchi and Takeshi Nishio, as well as a talk event by experts on bicycles. In the second half of the exhibition, there will be a mini-exhibition of photography works by Koji Kato, the director of the exhibition, "LUMIX" cameras will be exhibited throughout the first and second halves, and talk events related to photography with special guests will be held.

The three artists will take the stage at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, for a talk that will provide plenty of behind-the-scenes information about the exhibition. During the talk event, visitors can also enjoy live painting by "Stomach Acre," a popular illustrator and artist who also designed the exhibition's logo.
