VERDY, a graphic artist who is leading the Tokyo culture scene in both name and reality, will hold the festival-type event "VERDY HARAJUKU DAY" from October 12 (Sat.) to October 14 (Mon., holiday).
The event will be held in Harajuku, the birthplace of street culture, and will feature more than 30 items on display and for sale under the three themes of "fashion," "music," and "art," in collaboration with artists, brands, and companies with whom VERDY has close ties. More than 30 contents will be exhibited and sold at the festival. Click here to read VERDY's comments on the festival.
At Fashion Weeks held abroad, there are not only fashion shows of various brands, but also showrooms opened for buyers visiting from all over the world, and street brands hold pop-ups. At night, parties are held at clubhouses all over the place, where people also gather. We will recreate such a fun space in "Harajuku, Tokyo" where everyone will want to gather. We want people from all over the world to come and have fun.
As for the contents of the festival, the format will be announced on this insta-account one after another. At this point, VERDY is working on a limited-edition patchwork, and those who make reservations in advance will be able to make a pair of jeans using the patches in consultation with a tailor. Reservations are now being accepted, so be sure to check back.
Incidentally, on Sunday the 13th, HOUYHNHNM is also holding the "HNF" festival at the Shibuya Stream, so be sure to make the trip up there! It is going to be a three-day weekend to look forward to.
