Freedom from your phone! Levi's and Google teamed up to create the denim jacket of the future.

The smart jacket with JacquardTM technology from Levi's® and Google, which was launched in fall 2017 and took the world by surprise.

The second edition of the Levi's® Trucker Jacket with JacquardTM by Google will be released on Saturday, October 5. This is the first time it will be available in Japan.

It looks like an authentic trucker jacket, but it is packed with technology that will brighten the future of fashion.

A microfiber textile is encased in the left cuff of the jacket, and a jacquard tag smaller than a piece of gum is attached to the cuff.

This Jacquard tag enables an innovative system.

By tapping or sliding the left sleeve with the palm of your hand, you can control various functions such as playing music, navigating to your destination, and answering phone calls.

It has been updated from the first version to include directions, weather information, access to traffic information, and a messaging function. For everyday use, it looks like you won't have any trouble with this one piece of clothing.

It can be washed while maintaining the same strength as regular denim. The good news is that the looks and comfort are the same as before.

Tags have also been changed to this project's specifications.

In the two years since our first launch, technology has become smaller, more affordable, and more convenient. However, the premise and purpose for which we created it has not changed.
