The main character, Yoshida, who grew up in London as a child, spent his high school years not fitting in with the stagnant, village-society atmosphere of Japan. His days were unfulfilling as he stared at his classmates and reality with a cold attitude. Through Hip Hop, he found a place and friends where he could express himself for the first time in Japan, and he fell in love with Hip Hop, both physically and emotionally. Yoshida's confidence and achievements in the street were built through drug dealing while he practiced and worked as a rapper with a promise to his sister, Mari, that he would one day be active overseas. However, things did not go so well. He was defeated by a classmate whom he met again in a rap battle, and the opportunities he almost seized were lost one after another when he was betrayed by his friends. Just when he felt like he belonged for the first time, he is exposed to the harshness of reality and loses sight of himself.
His passion for Hip Hop had waned, and he had become a mere drug dealer.
Yoshida is now distant from his sister Mari, who is striving to achieve her dream, and is running away from a reality that will never end well, and he is finally arrested. What awaited him was the separation from his beloved sister. Is this what he wanted to do?
Will Yoshida be able to overcome reality as a rapper and as a human being?

Hip-hop is steadily gaining listeners here in Japan, though not among the mainstream audience, with MC battle shows gaining popularity on TV and the recent news that DJ Matsunaga has been crowned the world's number one DJ. The film is not only beautiful, but also depicts the realistic and tingly side of hip-hop, and the way a young man who has been running away from the harsh reality expresses himself with a microphone and with words will shine as a modern coming-of-age film.

In Japan, where a sense of stagnation and suffocation is becoming more and more prevalent, will this film have the power to break through the prison and become contagious to those who watch it? Please check it out at the theater.
