Analog records are once again attracting attention these days, but cassette tapes are being reevaluated in a different nuanced way.
C.E. has been releasing original cassette tapes for the past few years, albeit irregularly, and will be releasing three of them between this weekend and the beginning of next year.
First up is The Gerogerigegege, a solo project by Juntaro Yamanouchi. As an artist with a cult following, he is well known not only in Japan but also abroad.
Some of you may recognize the name, as the first LP in three years, UGUISUDANI APOCALYPSE, was released in 2019 by The Trilogy Tapes, a London-based music label that is also friends with C.E. The LP was released in 2019.

Coming out next week is a cassette tape featuring a mix by Manchester-based "Jon K." . This one was recorded at the C.E. party this past October at the venue.
Peder Mannerfelt, "Work

Finally, scheduled for release at the beginning of next year is a new work by "Peder Mannerfelt," a Swedish genius who is breaking new ground in techno.
Each piece will be available only at C.E.'s flagship stores. The sounds and culture that the brand embraces are captured in the old and new format of the cassette tape.
