The Elder Statesman's limited-time store is now open for a limited time, where you can feel the free winds of Los Angeles.

Usually, when we think of cashmere, we imagine a plain item that makes the most of the material, but Greg Chait, a designer who did not go to fashion school, has a sense of design that makes us think that such ideas are irrelevant.

In October of this year, Huynem visited Japan to interview him about the background of his unique creations and his somewhat unusual career.

The long-awaited store, which opened this past December at Ginza Six, represents the world view of the company's directly managed store in Los Angeles as described by Chait in an interview. Blankets, cushions, and stuffed animals are placed on modern wood desks and shelves, and racks are lined with individually hand-dyed knitwear. A neon sign in the center of the semi-circular store and a plant at the entrance accentuate the brand's free-spirited atmosphere.

This store will be open until January 14 (Tue.) next year. No other place in Japan offers such a large selection of products. It is worth a try.
