When Timex proposed this project, Snow Peak was the first company that came to mind as a possible collaborator. Also, Journal Standard Relume is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and we thought it would be a good idea to create a piece that would be appropriate for the occasion. The military-inspired detailing that is also found in Snow Peak's clothing and the model name, "ORIGINAL CAMPER," were perfect for this project. The idea of the dial, which is the symbol of this watch, was also a unique "CAMPER" idea, and I think it became a special order that only we could come up with.
