Since 2015, which is said to be the first year of the LGBT movement, there have been relatively open discussions about LGBT in Japan. Here is an introduction of a film and its completion preview, which takes LGBT as its starting point to rethink the shape of the family.

Five pairs of 10 people will be invited to the completion announcement preview of this film on January 18 (Wed.).
This is the latest film after a five-year absence from director Naoko Ogigami, who has established a new genre of Japanese cinema with her feminine point of view and unique atmosphere in films such as "Kamome Diner" and "Megane". Toma Ikuta plays the role of Rinko, a transgender woman. Kenta Kiritani plays Rinko's lover, Makio. In addition, Mimula, Eiko Koike, Lily, Mugi Kadowaki, Misako Tanaka, and other splendid actresses have gathered together.
The film depicts the heartwarming 60 days in the life of Rinko (Toma Ikuta), who is full of kindness, her lover Makio (Kenta Kiritani), who is attracted to the beauty of her heart and accepts everything she does, and Tomo (Rinka Kakihara), a lonely girl who has never known love, as they find their own happiness.
~STORY~.
Tomo (Rinka Kakihara), a fifth grader, lives with her mother, Hiromi (Mimula). One day, Hiromi disappears in pursuit of a man. Left alone, Tomo heads for her uncle Makio's (Kenta Kiritani) house. It is not the first time his mother has run away from home. The only difference is that Makio lives with his beautiful girlfriend, Rinko (Toma Ikuta). Rinko's delicious home-cooked meals adorn the dining table, and they enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility. Tomo is bewildered by the warmth of home that his mother never gave him, and by the fact that Rinko is more affectionate toward him than his mother, but he begins to trust her. Although they are not a real family, the special days the three of them spend together become a blissful time that teaches them what is irreplaceable in life and what true happiness is. What lies ahead when the three knit earnestly, entrusting their feelings to their knitting...
