MOUNTAINSMITH is a newly launched apparel line with Mr. Yamane of FC/E.®️ as its designer. MOUNTAINSMITH is one of the hottest brands in the urban outdoor brand category.
The theme for the 2020SS, the second season of the brand, is "hippies" from the American culture of the 1970s, when Mountainsmith was founded. The symbolic item is the collaboration T-shirt with the Grateful Dead, a rock band representing the hippie movement. Let's take a look at them one by one.

This pocket T-shirt features the iconic "Grateful Dead" Steel Your Face with a lightning bolt running through the skull on the chest. On the back, the logo of "Mountainsmith" from the time of its establishment is intertwined with Dead Thunder. This logo is also a perfect match with the mood of the 70's.

The other has the Grateful Dead's mascot, the Dancing Bear, printed prominently on the back. The psychedelic coloring is also great. The Mountainsmith logo is also printed on the front for a great impact.
Both are made of recycled cotton and are sustainable. The hippie mindset can be felt and appreciated in this respect as well. Also, the thick, soft body and wide silhouette seem to go well with today's trends.
