FOSSIL, which was founded in 1984 and is known for its watches and other fashion goods, has introduced a reissue of its "Big Tick" wristwatch, available only in Japan.
The "Big Tic" was introduced in 1999 and is the face of the brand. It was popular for its revolutionary design at the time, in which the hour and minute hands were analog while the seconds were digitally animated.
Here are two watches that will be the first to be reissued in this commemorative series. The stainless steel case and strap look as if they are one continuous piece, and the futuristic rainbow-colored digital display is a perfect match. They come in two sizes, 40mm and 32mm in diameter, making them perfect for a pair of watches.
Case diameter 40mm ¥15,000+TAX
Case diameter 32mm ¥15,000+TAX
In addition, there are a whopping seven different digital animations available, which can be changed using the push button in the upper right corner. Scroll down, scroll up, swipe left, swipe right, blink, squish, and flippy floppy modes are available, allowing you to enjoy watching the numbers change graphically. You may change it every day for a week.
The key visual is by Backside works. an illustrator based in the art city of Fukuoka.
The key visual for the reissue was created by Backside works, a Japanese illustrator based in Fukuoka, Japan, whose style is influenced by the manga and anime of the 1980s and 1990s. The "Big Tic" robot standing against a realistic background is impressive, and has a pop feel reminiscent of American comic books.
For those of you who can't get enough of both digital and analog watches, we recommend this watch in limited quantities. The watch is now on sale at the TiCTAC online store.
