Fashion and sustainability have become inextricably linked in recent years. Major brands, at the top of the list, are implementing a variety of environmentally friendly measures. In the midst of all this,NIKEMove to Zero" aims to reduce carbon emissions and waste to zero and protect the future of sports.
The "Space Hippie" footwear collection introduced here is part of this effort. Four models of footwear were made from waste materials assumed to be "space trash" in the image of life on Mars, where resources are limited.

The upper, named "Space Waste Yarn," is made of approximately 85-90% recycled polyester derived from plastic bottles, T-shirts, and yarn waste. The look of docking different materials is impressive, and the orange detailing adds an accent.

The midsole, titled "Crater Foam," as the name implies, incorporates recycled Nike Grind Rubber to create a myriad of depressions. In addition, the insole is made from discarded ZoomX foam, Nike's lightest, softest, and most resilient cushioning material. It is truly a pair that is friendly to both the earth and the wearer.
Even the shoe boxes are made from recycled materials and plant-derived ink. These efforts have resulted in "Space Hippie" being one of the lowest carbon footprint products in the brand's history.
The new designs were created with the global environment in mind, and will be available at SNKRS and NIKELAB MA5 from June 11 (Thursday).
