The building, with its serene atmosphere, was designed by architect Tsune Nagasaka. Rather than using the 122-year-old historical storehouse built in the traditional Japanese architectural style as it is, the functionality and value were added from a modern perspective. A studio, "TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO," is located in one corner of the building. It will function as a place where creativity is born, as befits a town that has thrived on manufacturing.
