The brand's next move is eyewear.
Rimowa Eyewear, which applies the suitcase's design features, offers sunglasses and opticals. Indeed, when you think about it, eyewear is one of the essentials for travel. It is often the case that the moment you step out of the airport, you feel the sun's unprecedented intensity.
The first two unisex lines of sunglasses introduced here consist of the "Rimowa Bridge" and "Rimowa Rim. The former is an innovative design inspired by the rivet clasps on suitcases, and has an industrial appeal that tickles men's fancy. The latter, when viewed from the front, looks as if the left and right frames have been fastened together with a needle, and the lenses framed with thin acetate accentuate the presence of the frames.
Both frames come in three types, with the Rimowa monogram and suitcase grooves on the temples that extend in a straight line. Please take a look at the lineup at a glance from here.

The optical line "Rimowa Air" will be available in five different designs, each in three different colors. Unfortunately, no photos are available, but it seems certain that this one will also be a minimalist design.
The eyewear collection will be available at the Rimowa Store's Ginza 7-chome, Omotesando, Osaka Shinsaibashi, and Hankyu Umeda (1st & 8th floors) stores and on the official website from July 9 (Thu). Please note, however, that "Rimowa Air" will be available only at eyewear specialty stores.
