Princi®, a bakery that educates people about Italian food culture, will launch new breads and new services on July 8 to bring in the summer.

An Italian bakery that opened in Milan in the 1980s, "Princi® (Princi®)". This restaurant offers a wide variety of typical Italian dishes such as bread, cornetti, pizza, salads, and desserts, allowing customers to experience the country's food culture in its entirety.

Its global stores are located in Seattle, Shanghai, Milan, New York, Tokyo, Chicago, and other world-class cities in partnership with "Starbucks Coffee". In Japan, three stores were opened at once last year in Nakameguro, Daikanyama, and Ginza. Since its opening, the restaurant has been the talk of the town among food-conscious people in Japan, as it offers the opportunity to enjoy Italian culture in Japan.

Three such stores in Japan will launch new summer-themed items on July 8 (Wed.). The colorful menus are richly decorated with seasonal fruits and authentic ingredients. We will introduce all of them in this issue!

Focaccino Prosciutto Crudo & Brie ¥980+TAX

In response to customer requests for a variety of sandwiches, the focaccia sandwiches we have been selling have been made into one-hand sandwiches. Here is one of the four types. The focaccia dough is used to sandwich 20-month aged prosciutto crudo, Brie cheese, sunny lettuce, and trevis. The harmony of different textures and tastes makes this a dish that you will never get tired of.

Caponata ¥880+TAX

Caponata is a traditional dish from Sicily and Naples in southern Italy. Deep-fried eggplant and bell peppers, fried onions, celery, olives, and other ingredients are simmered in our original pomodoro sauce, with white wine vinegar added as an accent. The flavor of the ingredients can be tasted directly, and the light aftertaste makes this dish perfect for summer. The bread is also included, making it a satisfying meal.

Vichyssoise ¥340+TAX

A cold soup made with potatoes that is unique to summer. By slowly frying the ingredients in butter and simmering them in vegetable stock, the rich flavor of potatoes is concentrated. The soup is finished off with a final addition of cream for richness. Serve with bread or sandwiches.

Corneti Limone ¥380+TAX

A crispy and pleasantly crunchy cornetti with lemon, a symbol of southern Italy. Sandwiched between original lemon jam and pastry cream, the surface is topped with fondant, lemon zest, and lemon cubes. The marriage of the cream and the acidity of the lemon accentuates the freshness.

Panna cotta ¥520+TAX

Panna cotta originated in Northern Italy. At Princi®, the smooth panna cotta is made with fresh cream and ricotta cheese and topped with a tropical sauce made from four kinds of fruit, including pineapple and mango. Enjoy the fruity summer flavor.

In addition to the summer menu, "Principi Daikanyama T-SITE" will launch a new service, "Salumeria Bar," which will allow customers to enjoy Principi® to the fullest.

The "Salumeria Bar" is a service that sells hams and cheeses by the gram, just like the Italian specialty restaurant "Salumeria". You can buy what you want in the quantities you want, making it a good choice for parties and drop-offs.

The "DIY Set" allows you to make a "Principi®" sandwich at home. The kit includes the store's specialty bread and ham and cheese that go well with it. The "Aperitivo Set" is an easy way to experience the Italian culture of "aperitivo," a pre-dinner drink, and includes an assortment of snacks to go with the drink.

The sun is shining in the summer in Tokyo. The new Italian-derived release from Princi® will surely bring a breath of fresh air.
