Starting with the "M992" in February this year, the brand's most recent model, the iconic "M1300" was reissued.New Balance, Inc.With momentum suddenly picking up as we enter 2020, we are pleased to announce the reissue of the Asian-made "1700" for the first time in a decade.
The "1700" is an American-made flagship model released in 1999. It was the first full-length pair to feature ABZORB, which boasts high cushioning properties, as well as N Durance, a wear-resistant rubber material, on the heel, and was the talk of the town at the time.
And now comes the Asian version of this model. The sole is identical to the original, faithfully reproducing its superior comfort. The synthetic leather and mesh upper combines robustness and breathability.
The coloring is based on the American-made "1700," which was released in Japan in 2000 on a limited basis. The gray base color is accented with gold details.
The heel is embroidered with "LIMITED EDITION", "new balance japan" and "1700", It is a pair with a special feeling.
