“IDÉEThe brand offers furniture and interior products based on the theme of "exploration of life and living with a sense of beauty. At first glance, the items they select may seem ordinary, but when you pick one up, you are struck by the soul that resides within it.
The brand has opened a new store, IDÉE TOKYO, at Gransta Tokyo in Tokyo Station. The store will be curated by Naoto Fukasawa, a product designer who also serves on the advisory board of MUJI, and is expected to bring even more sophistication to the store.
The store features design products selected under five themes: "World Master Piece," "Folk Art & Crafts," "Fine Daily Items," "New Creation," and "Original & Limited. Original & Limited".
In the back of the store is a gallery space that hosts projects and exhibitions based on monthly themes. Opening the gallery is a work by ceramist Taizo Kuroda, whose quiet and comfortable appearance is a comfort to the eye. The empty vessel foreshadows a bright future for the store.
IDÉE TOKYO is a place where IDÉE's unique sense of beauty and timelessness intersect. Coming into contact with good design and folk art will bring joy, enrichment, and empathy into your life.
The opening is Monday, August 3.
