Actor Shia LaBeouf began his journey into show business at an early age. The words he wrote down in the process of retracing his memories were made into a screenplay as his autobiography, which he sublimated into a work of art.

One night in 2005, Otis (Lucas Hedges) is sent to a rehabilitation facility after a drunken car accident. There, he is diagnosed with signs of PTSD and begins to search his past memories in order to discover the cause. He recalls being pushed around as a child by his father, James (Shia LaBeouf), an emotionally unstable ex-convict and unemployed. As Otis grows up, he interacts with a parole officer who is concerned about him, a neighbor girl, and the adults on set, and enters a new world...

The film was directed by filmmaker Alma Harrell. Named by director Pon Joon-ho as one of the "20 up-and-coming directors to watch in the 2020s," expectations for the future are high. A close friend of LaBeouf's, she frequently contacted him while he was still in rehabilitation, assisted him with his memories, and incorporated them into the script.

Noah Jupe plays Otis, a 12-year-old who is making a name for himself as a child actor. He is one of the fastest-growing actors in the industry, having built a career in multi-genre masterpieces such as "Wonder, You Are the Sun," "The Quiet Place," and "Ford vs. Ferrari," despite his young age. Otis is struggling to eat his way out of the world, struggling to grow taller and struggling to survive in the face of unreasonable adults. With his experience and talent, he has successfully fulfilled the role of an uncomplicated human being.

Ten years later, Otis is played by Lucas Hedges, who was nominated for an Academy Award® for "Manchester by the Sea. And as his father James, Shia LaBeouf, who also wrote the screenplay, plays the role of his own father, who was also the source of his trauma.
