Shibuya is a town that changes its form little by little every hour and every second.
. redevelopment will only quicken that pace.ZakuraThe gallery "》 is located in Sakuragaoka, Shibuya, and has its roots quietly in the area. The gallery is not limited to artists' exhibitions, but also serves as a venue for fashion brand exhibitions, workshops, and other events open to people who want to communicate their ideas.
The gallery's former photo concept store is said to have strong ties with people who make their living from photography, and the exhibition, which opens on Monday, September 7, is a true testament to the gallery's skills.
The exhibition focuses on five artists based in Tokyo, who have shown unparalleled activity in recent years. The five artists are Kishomaru Shimamura, Kota Tokaibayashi, TAIGA, Motohiko Hasui, and Kyohei Hattori, all of whom have taken Polaroid photographs for this exhibition.
What do they capture with their analog cameras while digitization is rapidly advancing under the influence of the corona? What are they capturing? Please come to the venue to find out.
