Blue Bottle Coffee" is steadily expanding the base of third wave coffee in Japan, opening stores in Nakameguro, Shinjuku, and Shinagawa, following Kiyosumi-Shirakawa and Aoyama.
All of our stores now offer Blue Bottle Coffee Chocolate, an original chocolate developed in collaboration with San Francisco-based chocolate brand TCHO.
Chocolate and coffee is a marriage of royalty, but since Blue Bottle has chosen it, one can only guess at its quality. Like Blue Bottle Coffee, Cho is a San Francisco-based chocolate brand founded in 2005 by Timothy Childs, a former NASA space shuttle engineer, and Karl Bittong, who has over 45 years of experience in the chocolate industry. They have many fans for their exquisite sweetness, which is different from the common chocolate in the U.S. , and they maintain the quality well by producing their own factory.
This chocolate is an original creation by " Cho " made exclusively for Blue Bottle Coffee. The deep 71% cacao chocolate, made with cacao from Ghana, Madagascar, Peru, and Ecuador, was created by James Freeman, founder of Blue Bottle Coffee, and Brad Kinzer, chief chocolate maker at Cho's, with coffee as the perfect partner. The chocolate was created with coffee in mind. The deep, lingering taste and harmonious flavors make it the perfect pairing for coffee.
The combination of the two was thought up by elite experts in their respective fields. There is no way not to try it. It would also make a great Valentine's Day gift.
