Malibu Shirts was born in California and raised in the Hawaiian ocean, but in the face of recent ocean pollution, the company wondered, "Can't we do something to give back to the ocean? The development of new materials began from there. This is where the development of new materials began. The material that emerged was "ONE OCEAN," an upcycled material recycled from marine waste.
The number of plastic bottles of marine waste used to make one T-shirt using "ONE OCEAN" is equivalent to 14 500ml bottles. The more T-shirts we make, the cleaner the ocean becomes.
This is an opportunity to restart "Malibu Shirts". To commemorate this, we first collaborated with an artist.

Takeshi Masada's depicts a half-fishman rejoicing and an ascending plastic bottle.
CHUCKY painted a message about ocean pollution with a unique touch.
RYO KOIZUMI used his specialty calligraphy for the SAVE EARTH message.
MINATSU uses a cow motif that he usually uses.
A total of five artists participated. They include the well-known Mr. Kagami, contemporary artist Takeshi Masada, and RYO KOIZUMI, who also created the title characters for NHK's historical drama "Taiga Drama.
