After 10 years of recharging, White Mountaineering BLK is relaunching. The pop-up, which will be released in advance, will start on October 28!

“White Mountaineering." The reboot of "BLK" was announced for the Spring/Summer 2021 collection after a 10-year hiatus.

A pop-up event will be held from October 28 (Wed) to November 10 (Tue) at Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building's 6th floor promotional space, where the full "BLK" line and collaboration items with "BRIEFING" will be on sale in advance.

BLK, a high-spec black line launched in 2009, was suspended in 2011 in order to integrate it with the main collection. After 10 years, the line was re-launched based on the interpretation that "we have entered an era that demands the fusion of new technology and fashion.

The concept behind the re-launch is "BLACK LAYER KNOWLEDGE. The styling, which only uses layers of black, is not monotonous, but has a light rhythm to it.

This is because of GORE-TEX, stitchless sewing used in modern outdoor wear, narrow seam tapes, TPS sewing, and patternmaking inspired by the backcountry wear movement. By incorporating ever-evolving techniques and ideas, the garments have been restructured to fit the modern lifestyle.

The lining of each item is printed with a pattern, which can be called a blueprint of the item. This graphic is also incorporated into the price tag, a unique device unique to designer Yosuke Aizawa that not only completes the purchase, but also serves as an opportunity for communication in the store.
