In addition to the exhibited works, figures, T-shirts, can badges, and other goods made especially for this event will be sold at the venue.

Figure red ¥8,000+tax,
Colorized version ¥10,000+TAX (to be available from late November)

The following is a comment by Jun Osung on the occasion of the event.

The spread of the new coronavirus made me feel fear of unknown viruses, but it also made me think about the distance between people. In any case, we should not approach others. I am so conscious of this that I get nervous just watching old movies and seeing people I don't know in close contact with each other. In order to avoid contact with others, new ways of interacting with people have grown up, such as online conferencing and Internet distribution. The Internet has emphasized the individual, and I feel that the new coronavirus has further emphasized the individual.
However, since humans are social creatures, the individual is weak and should not be able to live alone. The image comes to mind that as the emphasis continues to be on the individual, each one of us will somehow become thinner and thinner. Regardless of our intentions, the distance between people (both physically and mentally) is formed in a big flow. However, I am sure that we can live with the Internet.

A virtual tour of the "D_I_S_T_A_N_C_E" exhibition will be available online from early November, making this an enjoyable exhibition even for those who are far away. Admission is free, so feel free to visit the venue when you are in the neighborhood.
