Dokajan" is a word that is a cross between "Hijikata (civil engineering worker)" and "jumper. The word "dokajan" has a pleasant feeling, doesn't it?

You can kind of picture a Dokajan. It's short, has a boa on the collar, and a little bit of padding.

As the origin of the word suggests, "dokajan" is a tough jumper worn over work clothes by hard-working dirt workers when they work outdoors in winter. We are pleased to introduce such a certain traditional costume to the Garage Lifestyle brand "Dokajan.GORDON MILLERFocus: "Dokajan in the City" is the focus. The "streetwise Dokajan" was born in collaboration with the American workwear brand "Cowden".

The design of the US Navy's "G-8" flight jacket, also known as the WEP jacket, is mixed with the Dokajan-derived collar boa (removable), padding, and other details. The front pocket, which is a feature of the G-8, has a pen pocket and hand warmers that can be accessed from the side. The action pleats, unique to flight jackets, also allow for smoother movement around the shoulders.

In conjunction with the release of this work, a pop-up event will be held at "GORDON MILLER LAB.", which is usually used as the office of "Gordon Miller". The event will feature Gordon Miller Motors cars as well as clothing from the new and past collections.

Both cars and clothing are rarely sold in Tokyo. It is quite rare to see both of them at once. The event will be held for two days, November 14 (Sat.) and 15 (Sun.).
