This work is marked by the two-tone silver & black color of the body. The original version has a jagged, uneven coin-edge shape, but has been finished with a solid crown. They were conscious of the smooth bezel that matches the cordovan belt.

The matte-finished black dial displays only small numerals 12, 3, and 9. The hour and minute hands are simple straight hands, pursuing an extremely simple design.

The matte white display is luminescent, so it emits light in the dark. The orange of the second hand, the only color added to the monotone dial, ensures legibility and design.

Trials were made in terms of thickness, shape, hardness, stitching needle, and so on.

The silver side (back side in cordovan) of the shell cordovan is used.

As you can see, Makers played an important role in this collaboration by producing a cordovan belt made by skilled Japanese craftsmen. The contrast between the even finish on the surface and the rough look of the silver surface enhances the original contrast of cordovan.
