Along with "sustainable," "SDGs" is a word you hear a lot these days, which stands for Sustainable Development Goals, in other words.
Many of you may understand what I am saying, but may have a hard time translating it into your own life. In this context, we would like to introduce a unique initiative by Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, which has been selected as an SDGs Future City.
In 2020, under the title of "A Small Meeting in Nature," the first "dialogue event" was held with Mayor Katsuragawa participating as one of the citizens of Kameoka, returning to the recognition that we are "ningen," one of the many "living things" that live in Kameoka. What exactly can we see from this "Tetsugaku Dialogue" and how does it relate to the "SDGs" in our own lives? We will ask questions and deepen our thinking about them, even if we don't come up with answers. It is not a philosophy, but a philosophy.
