Have you ever heard of Keen's design partners? They are responsible for building the branding and communicating the brand message through their respective worldviews.
This time, three design partners who have a deep understanding of Keen have come together to create the UNEEK EVO. The UNEEK EVO will be released in three different styles.
UNEEK EVO" is an ethical product that retains the iconic engineered knit, but uses materials that reduce waste and a direct-attach manufacturing process that does not use adhesives.
The first one is Mr. Motomichi Sekimura of "TOKYOOHEMPCONNECTION*THC". The coloring was inspired by the "sunset" often seen in daily life in Izu. The contrast between navy and orange is superb.
The paisley pattern on the insole is one of Tokyo Hemp Connection's specialties, and the color scheme is vivid.
Next up is Takashi Kashiki, who works for RFW (RFW). Inspired by the contour lines of a mountain, an ellipse is placed in the center of the upper. This is a unique design that visually creates a three-dimensional effect.
This is a pair of shoes that only Kakiko, who says she has always loved looking at maps, could have made.
UNEEK EVO ¥13,000+TAX each
Kazuhiko Kai of "Bamboo Shoot" adopted his favorite marbled gray color. Mr. Kai sent used sweatshirts from his roots to the "Keen" factory to recreate the coloring and texture.
The upper is decorated with blue points for a fresh look. In keeping with the concept, why not pair it with a gray sweatshirt?
Each of the three "UNEEK EVO" models is filled with the thoughts and backgrounds of the designers. They are currently on sale at the official Keen website.
