Mike; Nice to meet you, I'm Mike Gigliotti, owner of "Lottie's". I enjoy painting and skating.

. In 2016, Lottie's opened in L.A. Why did you choose to open a store in the local area away from the urban area?

I wanted to open in a place where there was nothing around, where I could put a ramp or a section in front of a store and people wouldn't complain. So I'm happy with the area I'm in (Mid-City).

What kind of store is "Lottie's"?

100% , it's a skate store. Not only skaters, but also local kids have been coming here recently. I love to draw, so I also draw graphics on my customers' shoes.

Did Corona have any influence on you?

Yes , there was. I had no choice but to close the store for 4 months. It was hard to sell a lot online during that time, but things are getting back to normal now. But things are getting back to normal now.

Speaking of "Lottie's," your original apparel line is also popular, isn't it? Mike's graphics are psychedelic and pop at the same time. What inspires you?

I see. Now I would like to ask you about your collaboration with "Palace". What was the impetus for this collaboration?

I've been friends with the Palace crew for many years. . I was very surprised when I heard about the team-up, but I was very happy.

What kind of image did you have of "Palace"?

I've always liked you. I think it's great that you are collaborating with various brands and doing what you want to do. I genuinely respect you.

There were many items with bold graphics. Are there any items in particular that caught your attention?

I think the basketball shorts are hot. They are just so comfortable! What everyone is looking for in clothes nowadays is comfort, right? In that sense, I think they are a very modern item.

In the teaser movie, the boy was sliding on a damaged car. I didn't see many obstacles like that in Japan.

It happens in our area sometimes. And, the whole L.A. area is in a bad shape right now. There is garbage everywhere. I feel a little threatened.

. Last question. What is your impression of Japanese street culture?

I think it's very nice! Lots of skate spots. gallery on Cat Street in 2017 .Sixteen.". I was also happy to have an event at the "Mecca of the Arts". . and the food is good, and there are a lot of frank people. I hope to go back as soon as Corona is settled. I really like Japan!
