Foursome One shows how fashion should be in the age of Corona. . and the feelings of those who are no longer with us in this world.

The Corona Era is never-ending. Words such as "stay home" and "new normal" have been consumed, and living in Corona has become the norm. Fashion, which is indispensable to our lives, will be based on this pandemic, and its meaning is likely to change.

This was felt at the "FORSOMEONE" runway show held at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo in March. Designer Satoshi Ogawa said in an interview after the collection presentation, "The way I use my time has changed in the Corona Disaster, and I have more time to go to the suburbs. I wanted to express the harmony of urban life and nature through fashion.

The title is "HUMAN NATURE 2.0," inspired by the hippie movement of the 1970s, and incorporates a bohemian taste into the brand's underlying street style. Incidentally, the title was inspired by the song "Human Nature" by Michael Jackson, a favorite of Mr. Ogawa.

The flared pants used in various styles to create a bohemian mood, mouton jackets and western shirts made in collaboration with Hidetaka Miyagi, and mohair knits made with knitwear company ASANTE SANA, are all on display. The moderate earth colors also tickle the hearts of those who see them.

, and the urban style is another highlight. Several items, including the first-look jacket, are decorated with graphics by artist Hiroki Tsukuda, who combines urban landscapes and buildings with water, trees, and other natural motifs. In fact, the ostentatious masks worn by the models were also created by Tsukuda. These are collages of scrap wood and plastic model parts, and seem to be a satire of the hardships of life in today's world.

For this collection, Ms. Ogawa focused on stress-free manufacturing, using natural fabrics for more than 85 percent of the total garments. Another key point is that the silhouettes are made in generous shapes such as oversized, easy fit, and flared.

The finale song of the show was "Big Blue" by Shaka Zombie. Mr. Ogawa said that Takeshi Osumi, a rapper in this hip-hop unit who passed away in January of this year, was "the person who got me started in fashion. While working on "Foursome One" and as a representative of "LDH Apparel," he also created costumes for J Soul Brothers from EXILE TRIBE with Mr. Osumi. This collection is also filled with feelings of gratitude to such an important person.
