A year ago, there was a wide variety of masks to choose from. While numerous manufacturers and brands are releasing high-performance masks one after another, the New Zealand-based outdoor brandIcebreaker.will also enter the mask front.

The material is, of course, merino wool, our 18th favorite. As many of you may have already experienced with our clothing, fine-fiber merino wool is soft to the touch, breathable, and has an odor-absorbing effect. By incorporating these features into a mask, it reduces the steaminess and odor when worn.

The heat-cut manufacturing method, which does not involve sewing, means that there is no need to worry about fraying after washing. Because a mask covers half of the face, it is important to look good, too.

The release is Friday, April 9. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Coronavirus Relief Fund of the non-profit organization Global Giving.
