An independent and international interview media space, "DYH (Destroy Your Habits))".
Artist Shohei Takasaki and producer Eri Takane have launched it in the midst of this pandemic as a place for conversation with creative activists who continue to challenge themselves throughout the world. By the way, Destroy Your Habits means shoot your quirks. That's a good name.
In addition to interviews and media, the space is also a project space that holds exhibitions and other activities together with creators on an irregular basis.
A two-person exhibition "Mirrored" by Hiro Kurata and Koichi Sato is currently being held at "DYH(Destroy Your Habits)" in Wakaba, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
Hiro Kurata
Hiro Kurata and Koichi Sato, who live and work in NYC, have exhibited in the U.S. and around the world.
Both artists, who usually work on canvas, will present drawings/paintings on paper for the first time in their careers.
Koichi Sato
For these artists, who have continued to work energetically as artists even under the circumstances of the Corona Virus, the easily transportable material of paper seems to have become even more familiar.
This exhibition, which is both a return to their roots and a new challenge for both artists, will be held until the 9th of next month.
