The name is THE EYEVAN. Eyewear BrandIvan!The store will be the direct management store and home base of "Ivan", "Ivan 7285", "10 Ivan", and "Eyevol", all of which are original labels of the company. The store will transmit Japanese high quality eyewear production from Gion to the world.

The space was directed by Yasumichi Morita, president of "Glamorous," who has designed numerous offices, interiors, and products. The interior is a modern space that evokes today's Gion, while the exterior is designed to look like a machiya (townhouse) that blends in with the Gion streetscape.

To commemorate the opening, "EYEVAN Tortoise" was specially ordered from "Osawa Bekko," a long-established Sendagi-based company that produces traditional tortoiseshell glasses. Under the hands of skilled craftsmen, EYEVAN's representative models WEBB and E-0505 have been sublimated into timeless masterpieces. With the supervision of the broadcaster Kundo Koyama, one can't help but have high expectations. Although the price is a bit steep, it is sure to be a "lifetime product.
