Iniesta gives the sneaker scene a whirl ⁉︎ Three new models from Spain's Mikacs combine class and fun.

Andres Iniesta is a well-known former member of Spain's national soccer team and now plays for Vissel Kobe. On the court, he is a brilliant all-rounder who can pass and keep the ball, and in business, he is a manager of a vineyard and winery.

The name.MIKAKUS.Launched in Spain in January 2019, the company develops sneakers based on the three key elements of design, quality, and comfort. All materials and parts are made in Europe and manufactured in Portugal , an up and coming brand that has quickly emerged with its maison-like excellence in manufacturing.

From them comes the latest collection "BACK FORWARD COLLECTION" for Spring/Summer 2021. Using the sea of Barcelona and the streets of Kobe, which Iniesta loves so much, as the design source, three models have been released with a modern touch.

018 (MEN) ¥28,600 each

The "018" is based on a sneaker design from the 1970s, but with a modern volume. The unique use of different materials such as cloth, leather, suede, and nubuck on the upper, combined with the pop color scheme, creates a classy and playful finish. The high lug outsole boasts excellent grip and is recommended for light running and training.

REBOUND LOW (MEN, WOMEN) ¥27,500 each

The "Rebound Low," an urbanized version of the Bash, features a mixed leather and suede upper for a touch of class. The recycled polyester base of the upper is also environmentally friendly, as is typical of Mikakus. The thick midsole is made with an ultra-lightweight EVA sole, providing a lightweight comfort that belies its appearance.

RR4 (WOMEN) ¥26,400 each

The "RR4" is developed for women. Like the previous two models, it has an impressive voluminous form, and the sole unit uses a recycled wedge sole made from industrial scraps. The natural texture, common to all colors, is sure to make women's feet feel light and airy.
