Want to be the coolest this summer? To celebrate the release of the cult film THE LIGHTHOUSE, weber has created a T-shirt.

Summer is a time for ghost stories, tests of courage, and horror movies, right?

Last year, "Midsummer" chilled the hearts of moviegoers in Japan and abroad, and this year, no less outrageous films were born.

The nomadic vintage clothing store "weber" has created a collaborative T-shirt to commemorate the release of "THE LIGHTHOUSE," a film produced by the A24 film studio that grossed over $10 million in the U.S., in Japan on Friday, July 9.

The only characters in the work are two lighthouse keepers who come to an isolated island in the middle of the ocean. The mysterious and fantastical events that befall them shape the story. Toward the end, the extreme conditions of human nature are revealed, pulling the audience into the depths of horror.

Weber" is a two-part design that expresses this film, which is a mixture of cult and fantasy. Both are simple and monotone in coloring, in reference to the monologue between the two and the black-and-white images.

The photo tee features the film's iconic motif, the seagull, simply placed on the front, while the logo tee features the title in white font on a black body.

The design, of course, is as expected of "weber," and it incorporates plenty of gimmicks with an awareness of T-shirts from the 1990s. The body is a European project of "Fruit of the Loom," and is produced with a high-mesh silkscreen print in anticipation of becoming old clothes after a few years.

The collaborative T-shirts will go on sale on July 9 (Fri.), the same day the movie opens, at TOKiON the STORE andOnline StoreIn.

You can buy them after you see the movie, or you can buy them before you see the movie. Either way, these two pieces are sure to be the coolest T-shirts this summer.
