As an illustrator, designer, and painter, Edotsuwaki has left behind many wonderful works. In recent years, he has been expanding his field of expression, and his creative spirit shows no sign of abating.
The subject of the new exhibition "Salt Honey" is ceramics.
The title of the exhibition is said to mean "various memories that come back to me every time I look at the works," and many of the pieces on display were created in the kiln of Toshihiko Shimizu, a ceramic artist in Tanba Sasayama.
The venue is CURATOR'S CUBE, a gallery space operated by LANDSCAPE PRODUCTS. Mr. Shinichiro Nakahara, the president of Landscape Products, made the following comments on the occasion of the exhibition.
The moment I saw Ed's ceramic artwork on social media, it was as if this was
It had such an impact that I mistakenly thought it was a message to me.
Then we visited Ed's studio,
Many of the works in this exhibition are by ceramic artists from Tamba Sasayama,
We heard a story about a kiln made by Toshihiko Shimizu.
The other works displayed in the room, which have not yet been exhibited, show that Mr. Ed's materials have been used in a variety of ways.
I was completely taken in by the sharpness of the sensitivity to the
We are pleased to announce that we are now open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there.

And here is Ed Tsuwaki's comment.
I spent the late summer-late fall of last year in Kansai. I held a traveling exhibition of paintings in Tamba Sasayama and Osaka at the same time,
While living in the homes of the owners of both galleries,
While traveling back and forth between the two locations, I was also working on this exhibition.
The title "Salt Honey" refers to the various memories that come back to me every time I see these works.
Everything you encounter in 40 days is baked in and tastes sweet and choppy.
It is also about the odd taste I have for a wet black glaze on a dry white background.
I am glad that Mr. Nakahara was quick to respond to these products,
I also feel the joy of starting a new journey.

Why not witness the artist's new creation at the age of 50?
