The ideal form of eyewear as conceived by SAI and Globespecs. What is the round style with a traditional flavor?

Tetsuya Okada, one of the Huinamu bloggers, is the owner of the eyewear store "Globespecs". He is theI announced it on my blog.The newest addition to the "Scye SPECS" line is finally on sale.

The brand was originally launched in 2019, inspired by Mr. Okada's love of "SAI" clothes and designer Hisayo Hidaka and patterner Hideaki Miyahara's love of "Globespecs" eyeglasses. Mr. Okada carefully captures the worldview of SAI, which has British classics at its core, and incorporates it into the glasses.

Scye SPECS has chosen a round style as its theme for this year's collection. Two different styles with different tastes are now available.

P-COMBO ¥46,200 (Each Price)

This "P-COMBO" has a shape like a combination of a blow shape and a round shape, both of which are classics, and divided by two. It is a form that does not originally exist in vintage glasses, taking the best parts of each type, but it shows the wit that is typical of SAI.

P-BAR ¥47,300 (Each Price)

The other is "P-BAR. This model is based on the "RONBAR" frames from the 1930s, which are hard to find nowadays. The combination of the bar bridge and the ball shape is fresh. By slightly updating the details, it is a shape that can be easily incorporated into today's fashion.

Both are exclusive models to be released only at the stores of both companies. First, they will go on sale in advance at the Globespecs Kyoto store on July 17 (Sat), followed by their availability at SAI MERCANTILE and Globespecs stores from July 22 (Thu).
